Mechanism of Action

KLOW is a four-peptide regenerative blend (TB-500, BPC-157, KPV, GHK-Cu) designed to combine complementary tissue-repair, anti-inflammatory, and angiogenic mechanisms in a single subcutaneous injection. TB-500 (synthetic thymosin beta-4) modulates actin dynamics to drive cell migration and angiogenesis. BPC-157 enhances growth-factor signaling and vascular sprouting in tendon, ligament, and gut tissue. KPV is an alpha-MSH-derived tripeptide that downregulates NF-kB-mediated inflammation. GHK-Cu is a copper-binding tripeptide that stimulates collagen, glycosaminoglycan, and elastin synthesis.

Structure and Class

KLOW is a co-lyophilized blend totaling 80 mg per vial: TB-500 10 mg, BPC-157 10 mg, KPV 10 mg, and GHK-Cu 50 mg. The constituents span three pharmacologic classes - actin-modulating peptide (TB-500), gastric pentadecapeptide (BPC-157), alpha-MSH fragment (KPV), and copper-peptide complex (GHK-Cu) - delivered together for combined regenerative research.

Primary Research Areas

Preclinical investigation of soft-tissue repair, tendon and ligament recovery, wound healing, gut barrier integrity, dermal remodeling, and chronic inflammatory models. Frequently referenced in educational protocols as a broader-spectrum regenerative stack than any single component used alone.

Notable Peer-Reviewed Findings

Goldstein et al. characterized thymosin beta-4 as a wound-healing and angiogenic mediator. Sikiric and colleagues published extensive preclinical work on BPC-157 tendon, ligament, and gut healing. Kannengiesser et al. and others demonstrated KPV's NF-kB-mediated anti-inflammatory activity. Pickart and colleagues documented GHK-Cu's role in collagen synthesis, antioxidant defense, and skin regeneration.

Recovery & Repair Research

Recovery & repair research applications

Studied in models of tissue injury, inflammation, and post-stress repair to characterize protective, regenerative, and remodeling pathways.

  • Tendon, ligament, and soft-tissue repair models
  • Angiogenesis, fibroblast migration, and wound-closure assays
  • Modulation of inflammatory cytokines (TNF-α, IL-6) in cell culture
  • Gastrointestinal mucosal integrity and barrier-function studies
